Ensign Jerry Fennely, posted as a Naval Attaché, got
involved with a woman who spied for the enemy.  Only Dad
could save him by pulling strings and getting him a combat
assignment where he might survive and restore his
reputation.

But Chairman Fennely was suddenly not right in the head:
"Oh Ned, I think I'd like to have a horse brought up here
tonight. And a bottle of vinegar, --the good stuff."

Private Harvey Lou Osmond was assigned to the Far East. His
companions at the Marine Air Control Squadron taunted him
for being a communist and a weirdo. Returning from a drinking
expedition in town he was delighted to see his barracks was
on fire. "Burn those suckers!"  But important library books
were in his locker: "Speaking Russian for Idiots" and "The
Philosophies of Groucho Marks." --This could mean more
trouble with the authorities!

Losing his sense of isolation he ran toward the conflagration.
